- What is a Swap?!?
- You produce one card idea, multiple times
- In return, you get multiple different samples!
- Swaps help you SAVE and EARN MONEY
- Swaps help you SELL!
- Swaps are an AWESOME way to have a variety of samples on hand for display, blog posts, card class ideas & inspiration
- It allows for a variety of styles that won’t be “just your own” and you will reach a larger audience
- You will receive samples of stamp sets that you don’t have to purchase, in order to SHOW people some ideas!
- TIME is MONEY…
- When you work as a team, you are not spending hours and hours to create DIFFERENT displays, and therefore, you can spend time working on other aspects that will generate classes, customer contact, sales, etc.
- It is important that EACH swapper follows Swap Etiquette
- Remember, no matter what your personal goals are, demonstrators have a wide range of business activity and having “usable” swaps in return is imperative.
- So, Please follow our Swap Policies and all will benefit!
- FYI…if you participate in different swaps, be sure to pay attention if they have rules listed…some peeps do things differently!
- These swaps must be UNIQUE to THIS swap. If you participate in other swaps (real or virtual), be sure your creations are different.
- Our Swap Policies:
- Use ONLY Stampin’ Up! supplies!
- EVEN the White Cardstock AND Clear Envelopes!!!
- Use ONLY CURRENTLY Available Products
- REQUIRED…A 2017-2018 Holiday Catalog stamp set
- Other additional Holiday Catalog products recommended
- We are swapping FULL cards…not card fronts
- Layers are important. Don’t just stamp on a flat sheet of cardstock (unless your technique, embellishments, etc. create a professional look/feel with only an individual layer).
- Put each swap in an individual STAMPIN’ UP! clear envelope
- This will make swapping go more smoothly on this end AND protect everyone’s hard work.
- Lack of protection causes cards to stick to each other, get caught, etc.
- These MUST be STAMPIN’ UP! Clear Envelopes
- They come 50 in a pack for $5.00…item #102619
- You are receiving the exact number back that you are giving (-1).
- Do NOT seal the envelope…this way, they are re-usable. Simply tuck it in.
- Do NOT put any labels, etc. on the envelope
- This will make swapping go more smoothly on this end AND protect everyone’s hard work.
- EACH swap should be great quality. If you smudge, cut crooked, etc. please re-do that sample.
- Remember, you might think it is no big deal to have one “whoops” in a pile that you are turning in…but only ONE person is going to get your “whoops” sample. Be kind and ensure each swap is something you would want to receive.
- Please do NOT mark the card with creator markings…
- Instead, use sticky notes or a business card to include your name & contact info
- Everyone will be expected to post their recipe (supplies used on swaps & any special technique instructions) in the comments section of their photo, in the Swap Specific Facebook Group.
- I take photos and upload them within a few days of swap re-mailing
- I will have a basic format to use to post your recipe…please watch for details on Swap FB Group.
- We are swapping 15 + 1
- That means you turn in 16 (NOT 15…NOT 17)
- You will NOT receive your own back…so be sure to make and keep one for yourself
- You will receive 15 different samples back
- Use ONLY Stampin’ Up! supplies!

- WITH YOUR NAME ON THE BAGGY
